She already told me when I was back home that she wants to go to a trip to 'Pitlochy' (it's a tiny village just about two hours away from Glasgow) . So we booked our tickets and after a few days it was finally time to go.
On the way to our adventure the bus driver made a quick stop to show us this beautiful view. And I immediately fell again in love with Scotland.
If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen it already.
A bit over an hour of more driving we stopped at the 'Scottish Chocolate Centre'…
…and had one of the best hot chocolates ever.
After that we finally arrived in Pitlochry.
Like I said Pitlochry isn't that huge so the tourists attractions are easily to reach with a short walk. So we did!
We had to cross this bridge and it might not look that scary to you but I swear it was, especially as we realized that the bridge is moving when you step on it!!
The main attraction was the fish ladder which helps the fish swim to the other side.
But the other side was completely silent.
As it turned darker we met our group back at the bus station and took shuttles to our proper destination.
Every year they have a special topic and this year it was 'Elemental'.
All in all it was a really nice trip.
The weather was great and the forest was quite romantic, almost cheesy.
What you guys think?
If you want to see the trip trough another set of eyes, my sister did a post about Pitlochry and the Enchanted Forest as well. You can check her blog out here.
See ya,
SS. Xx
